Chris Bhatti is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Vissero Partners, LCC where he specializes in investor, client and governmental relations. Previously, Chris was Director of External Relations in the Office of the Dean at SMU’s Simmons School of Education. Chris was responsible for fundraising strategies and alumni relations for all programs in the school and was a part of the inaugural $50 MM campaign that brought in the largest gift to SMU in the university’s 100-year history.
Chris was the Founder and CEO of Mindful Learning, LLC, which provided tutoring and mentoring services to students in private schools along with after-school programs to public and charter schools. In 2010, Chris executed the sale of Mindful Learning. Pursuing his passion for Sustainable and Responsible Investments, Chris serves as an Advisory Board member to Group Excellence, the largest tutoring company in Dallas and 18th fastest growing company in Dallas Fort Worth.
Chris serves on the Board of Trustees for the Dallas Education Foundation, Community Council of Greater Dallas, Linking the World, and Educational Opportunities. He serves on the SMU Young Alumni Board, and Advisory Board for the SMU Hegi Career Development Center. He is the Advisory Board President for the Mayor’s Star Council for the City of Dallas, and serves on the Advisory Board for the Center for Non-Profit Management. He is an active member of The Dallas Regional Chamber, The Minority Business Council, Leadership Dallas Class of 2012 Alumni, Leadership Dallas 2013 Class Advisor, and part of the Dallas Assembly Class of 2014.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Psychology from Southern Methodist University, a Master’s in Education from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Master’s in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University.
