Michael Crain is currently Texas Public Policy Manager for Uber. During his 8 years in Beijing, he helped establish international law and consulting firm Bingham McCutchen’s first China office and served as Chief of Staff at the United States Embassy. Before moving to China, he served in various capacities with the George W. Bush Administration including with the White House, the U.S. Departments of Commerce and Health & Human Services, the Republican National Committee and the Presidential Inaugural Committee. Michael is also the Founder of Chi Fan for Charity, a charitable dining program in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong that has raised over $500,000 for local causes in China.
