HISTORY
For fifteen years two Asian organizations, the Texas Asian Chamber of Commerce (TACC) and the Austin Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AAACC) strove to improve the business climate in Austin, conducting separate job fairs, industry forums, educational seminars, and social networking functions.
Recognizing the growth and development of the Asian business communities in Central Texas, and the promise that a united chamber would be better positioned to advocate and represent the community, the two chambers merged to form the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce (GAACC) on March 29, 2012.
