Scott Dunaway has enjoyed serving as a strategic communications consultant for more than fifteen years. He has counseled and guided clients through media relations, message control, public affairs communications, government relations and issues management.
A diverse group of organizations and entities have trusted Scott and his team to service their strategic communication needs which include Fortune 500 entities, local leading businesses, national non-profit organizations, municipalities, state agencies and elected officials.
Prior to his current endeavors, Scott served in the Administration of President George W. Bush as a press secretary and spokesman at the U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration. He also managed international media at the Group of Eight (G-8) Summit, hosted by President Bush, and served on staff for a number of years in the U.S. House of Representatives handling legislative business and communications.
Scott founded Dunaway Public Relations in 2006 and The Monument Group in 2008 as a partnership with Russell T. Keene. Scott serves on the Board of Trustees at Lake Hills Church and The Seton Fund. He serves on the Board of Directors at The Headliners Club. He holds a B.S. in Communications Studies and minor in Business from Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, TX.
